Dear DSISD Students and Families,
Your DSISD staff have successfully implemented a continuation of remote learning that was initiated on August 24th. We simultaneously planned for our return in-person learning, which includes many steps to ensure your student’s safety and success: teacher training, student training, community information, and our “Health and Safety Live Tour/Simulation” that will occur October 12-14th, 2020.
DSISD students and families, you are invited to attend and experience the DSISD “Health and Safety Tour/Simulation” during one of the following time slots/schedules:
· Monday, October 12th: 1:00- 2:00 pm OR 5:00- 6:00 pm
· Tuesday, October 13th: 1:00- 2:00 pm OR 5:00- 6:00 pm
· Wednesday, October 14th: 1:00- 2:00 pm OR 5:00- 6:00 pm

This experience will provide you with the opportunity to see your renovated DSIDS high school-new floors and blinds, experience the artistic work that is a collaboration of a community professional artist and our powerful student voice, and most importantly experience the health and safety protocols based on the latest “DPS 5 Implementation Plan”, Colorado Department of Health, and health organization recommendations/requirements.
We look forward to providing you with this event that will enable us to interact with you live and obtain your honest feedback on any changes that you may want to suggest. We receive feedback as an indication of our continued collaboration with you to recreate and improve education as we move forward together in this new pandemic world.
