Ethnic Studies Culture Fair

Our Ethnic Studies class hosted a culture fair to honor Native American heritage month. Students presented their PBL (project based learning) “public product” following the PBL project design component. The public product is defined as: “Student work is made public by presenting, displaying, or offering it to people beyond the classroom. Students are asked to explain the reasoning behind choices they made, their inquiry process, how they worked, what they learned, etc.” (PBLworks) Students in Mr. Stein’s class presented their Native American heritage PBLs to students, teachers, and staff from other classes in the library.
